VIENNA: MARC O'POLO OPENS FIRST MARC O'POLO DENIM FLAGSHIP STORE

Sometimes retro, sometimes futuristic - always on the move. With a sustainable ethos and unmistakable spirit, Marc O'Polo DENIM appeals to a younger audience, and now, Marc O'Polo's premium streetwear label is getting its own flagship store in Vienna. With this step, the modern casual brand continues to refine the brand experience it offers the core demographic of MO’PD of 20- to 35-year-olds.

Together with its distribution partner for Austria, Mairinger Holding, Marc O’Polo is opening the first flagship store exclusively for Marc O'Polo DENIM at Trattnerhof 1, directly adjacent to the Wiener Graben and in the immediate proximity of Kärntner Straße, Austria's most famous shopping street. The flagship store for Marc O'Polo Premium Casual Wear is located in the immediate vicinity.

"The realisation of our first Marc O'Polo DENIM flagship store is an important step for us in positioning and further expanding our business through our MO'PD collections. Nowhere else than in a stationary store can customers experience the brand so closely," says Maximilian Böck, CEO of Marc O'Polo SE. "As a dynamically developing European metropolis, Vienna is a magnet for many tourists from all over the world and is therefore the ideal location. We would like to expressly thank our Austrian partner, Mairinger Holding, for the joint implementation of the store."

"It makes us very proud that we can open the first flagship store for Marc O'Polo DENIM in Vienna. It once again underlines the success and trust of our very close partnership over all these years," says Marion Mairinger-Kriegleder, Managing Director of Marc O'Polo Austria. "I wish our store team a good start and great success."

THE SCANDINAVIAN LOFT - VIENNA

Marc O'Polo DENIM presents its Scandinavian streetwear collection for women and men in a ground-floor area of approximately 127 sq m. The urban SCANDINAVIAN LOFT store design in Vienna underlines the label's premium streetwear concept. A combination of light cream and grey tones, wall elements in a concrete look, industrial goods displays made of brushed stainless steel or high-quality chestnut wood, and changing cubicles and rock-like art installations made of fibreglass in the bold, new MO'PD ultramarine blue convey an urban and extremely modern effect. A highlight of the store are the ceiling-high screens, embedded in the wall, which play with current campaign motifs and sustainability infotainment. The concept, which was finalised in-house by Marc O'Polo, is based on an initial idea by the international design agency Landor & Fitch.
