TOGETHER CONNECTED.

Marc O'Polo focuses on its Scandinavian roots and passion for honest, durable and high-quality products in Fall/Winter 2023, launching outerwear and knitwear that reflect the brand’s passion for nature. The collection continues to advance the vision of offering only sustainable* products in the future. It features recycled or responsibly sourced materials and a first look at styles "Designed for Circularity".

"Together Connected" - with the new Fall/Winter 2023 collection, Marc O'Polo strengthens the feeling of solidarity and togetherness for which the brand stands. Driven by these values, the collection launches products that embody the brand's DNA and reflect the bond between people and nature.

OUTERWEAR

Outerwear is dominated by two main themes: puffers and wool. This August, the premium modern casual brand offers jackets and coats for women and men in different lengths, the products made of a robust yet lightweight outer fabric of organic and recycled cotton blends, with lining and filling from recycled materials. A cozy womenswear highlight in October: the soft beige wool coat in a curly look.

Low-Impact-Outerwear** enters the market for yet another season. The iconic Marc O'Polo Puffer will be offered in September and October as a jacket or coat with an RDS-certified down or RCS-certified polyester filling. The puffer surface is plainer this season and thus the look a little more subtle.

Sustainable warmth is provided by the menswear highlight piece: for the first time, Marc O'Polo presents a garment made of LocWoolTM. This Caban jacket in dark blue is made from wool that has been responsibly sourced from local sheep farmers in southern Germany. Using LocWoolTM makes an active contribution to the biodiversity of local raw wool. It also ensures a short and transparent supply chain, higher product quality and better animal welfare.

Marc O'Polo is taking an important step towards circular design with products that are "Designed for Circularity". Among the products launched is a short puffer jacket with circular quilting, designed to meet the criteria for circular design and validated by the transformation agency circular.fashion. The jacket was made from recycled materials and can be more easily recycled at the end of its lifespan.

KNITWEAR

Knitwear is getting heavier, more robust and more multifaceted: Traditional fair isle patterns have been reimagined for the future while cable knits are becoming wider. Warm styles such as fluffy cardigans and fine bouclé sweaters are womenswear highlights for winter, while short skirts bring femininity to the looks. Knitwear for men ranges from chunky cardigans to grainy turtlenecks with characteristic tweed details.

Inspired by the Scandinavian North, a colour palette of light and dark blues is broken by eclectic colours such as Vibrant Pink, Mellow Mint and Curry. The pattern of the season is check. Finely checkered? Even better for variety in the looks.

The journey of the campaign protagonists leads through wild nature, over hills and valleys, to a quiet, hidden oasis in the middle of a stunning landscape surrounded by mountains. Impressive drone shots show the vastness of this landscape from a bird's eye view. The Fall/Winter 2023 looks were photographed by Dan Beleiu on location in wintry natural scenery. Highsnobiety, the global fashion & media brand, created the concept and oversaw its implementation. The cast impresses with its diversity and naturalness. The personalities of Celeste Romero, Tara Halliwell, Liam Kelly and Victor le Daupin embody the relaxed and characteristic Marc O'Polo spirit.

Depending on delivery date, the Marc O'Polo Fall/Winter 2023 collection will be available from August, September and October in the Marc O’Polo online store, in some of the brand’s own stores and from selected retail partners.

* SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS

98% of the current Marc O'Polo collection is sustainable. This figure refers to the production volume of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Marc O'Polo describes and labels products as sustainable if at least 80% of the essential components (outer material, filling material and lining) in the apparel sector, 80% of the essential components (outer material, filling material) in the home textiles sector, at least one of the essential components (upper material, lining, sole) in the footwear sector, and at least one of the essential components (main material and lining) in the accessories sector (bags, small leather goods) are made of sustainable materials. An overview of these sustainable materials can be found here.

** LOW IMPACT PROJECT

High fashion with low impact. The Low Impact Project includes contemporary outerwear and accessories made with polyester from PET that has been collected and recycled in coastal regions. High colour fastness is achieved through an innovative spin-dyeing process in which the colour is introduced directly into the fiber, using comparatively little water, energy and chemicals. Collection highlights include voluminous puffer jackets for men and women, as well as modern bags and backpacks.
