DIRK SCHNEIDER BECOMES CHIEF SALES OFFICER AT MARC O'POLO / DRIVING FORWARD A CUSTOMER-CENTRIC OMNICHANNEL STRATEGY

Dr. Dirk Schneider will take over the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Marc O'Polo on April 1, 2024. Under Schneider the company brings together all sales activities—B2B and B2C, online and offline. The aim is to consistently drive forward a fully integrated, customer-centric omnichannel strategy, with a view to internationalisation and sustainable profitable growth. Schneider most recently worked for the Gebr. Heinemann Group as Managing Director.

Together with Susanne Schwenger (CPO), Patric Spethmann (COO) and Markus Staude (CFO/CHRO), Dirk Schneider (CSO) will form the Management Board of Marc O'Polo SE, under the leadership of Maximilian Böck (CEO).

Born in the Rhineland, he was responsible most recently for the areas of purchasing, marketing, supply chain and commercial effectiveness in the management of the travel-retail specialist Gebr. Prior to that, Schneider was Chief Digital & Operating Officer at the S.Oliver Group. At Amazon, he managed the German retail business for clothing, accessories, watches and jewellery. He worked for Payback prior to that and started his career at the strategy consultancy firm Oliver Wyman.
