MARKUS STAUDE-SKOWRONEK APPOINTED NEW CFO OF MARC O’POLO AG

Stephanskirchen, 18. May 2020 . The Supervisory Board of Marc O’Polo AG appoints Markus Staude-Skowronek as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 1 August, 2020. Markus Staude-Skowronek will assume responsibility for finances, human resources and administration. He comes from the multi-channel network QVC and succeeds Jürgen Hahn.

With his many years of experience in international companies, also in the field of HR, he will help us to continue to master the corona crisis, with all its after-effects, and continue our successful growth strategy,” said Werner Böck, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MARC O’POLO AG.

Markus Staude-Skowronek comes from the multi-channel QVC network, Germany. As CFO, he sustainably increased profitability and the share of e-commerce. Prior to that, he held various positions in the global finance and controlling division of fashion company ESPRIT for almost ten years.
 
Current CFO Jürgen Hahn is leaving the company on October 31, 2020, as announced. He will hand over his duties to Markus Staude-Skowronek until then.
