Scandinavian streetwear meets an icon of youth culture: Marc O'Polo DENIM × KANGOL. A dynamic fashion fusion, made for the streets, was celebrated yesterday at the recently opened, first-ever Marc O'Polo DENIM flagship store, at Trattnerhof 1 in Vienna. Some 300 international guests attended. With this collaboration, Marc O'Polo's premium streetwear label focuses on further expanding its brand awareness.
The launch party for the collaboration with cult British label KANGOL was attended by international friends of Marc O’Polo, including influencers such as Lena from @LisaandLena, Melanie Kieback (@vanellimelli), @Biondo, Maria Gabriela Santos (@mariagabrielasantos) and Noah Levi (@noahlevi) and local VIPs such as Rose May Alaba, Zoe Saip, Nina Himmelreich (@himmelreichnina), Raphaela Fuchs (@heartblood), Brandan Josh (@brandanjosh) and YUGO, as well as important retail partners and numerous press representatives. Guests celebrated to the music of internationally renowned musicians LOVEFOXY (@lovefoxy) and La La (@lalaselector). American street food, a basketball machine and fabric bags personalised on site underlined the streetwear character of the collaboration and set it off in a fitting manner. The guests danced on into the small hours at the after party at Club Praterstrasse.
THE SCANDINAVIAN LOFT – VIENNA
Marc O'Polo DENIM presents its Scandinavian streetwear collection for women and men in an area of around 127 sq m. The urban SCANDINAVIAN LOFT store design underlines the label's premium streetwear concept. Wall elements with a concrete look, industrial product displays made of brushed stainless steel or high-quality chestnut wood, and rock-like fibreglass art installations in strong, new MO'PD ultramarine blue reflect urbanity and a reduced, Scandinavian style. The highlight of the store is the ceiling-high screens, embedded in the wall, which are used to present current campaign motifs and sustainability infotainment. The concept, which was finalised in-house by Marc O'Polo, is based on an idea by international design agency Landor & Fitch.
