OUR TIPS FOR YOUR INTERVIEW

Nervous about your interview and don't know how to prepare? Our HR team has some great tips for you!

1 | Ines - HR Business Partnerin

Think about questions in advance.

Use the opportunity in the interview and ask questions - think about what you might be interested in beforehand.
What do you expect from your job? What do you need to feel comfortable? What do you value most in dealing with colleagues and managers?
This will give you a comprehensive picture of your potential employer and ensure that we can meet your expectations.

Be prepared.

Always have a piece of paper and a pen to hand during the conversation. You’ll be well prepared to take notes as you go along. The keyword timekeeping is also important for job interviews.
Keep an eye on the time and have a good overview of requirements - so that you can show off your organisational skills right away.

Mute all notifications during the interview.

We are all familiar with the little distractions of everyday life. During the interview, make sure that your smartphone is on silent mode. This ensures that the conversation runs smoothly.

2 | Sabrina - Manager Talent Acquisition

Make yourself comfortable, but make sure you have good posture.

It is important that you are relaxed and sitting upright during the interview. I definitely recommend that you maintain eye contact with the interviewer. When someone smiles at us, we smile back. Therefore my tip: Keep smiling.

Be authentic.

Show yourself as you are in the interview. Be authentic - this is the only way we can get to know you in all your facets. You may be a little nervous, of course, an unfamiliar situation - let that happen!

Choose the right outfit.

You should always feel comfortable and dress appropriately for the company and industry. Do not disguise yourself, but wear an outfit that genuinely reflects your personality.

3 | Karsten - HR Business Partner

Take the opportunity to talk about yourself.

Talk in full sentences, find a good balance between telling and listening. Take the opportunity to describe yourself when asked questions.
Perhaps dare to say something unusual - maybe you have a special hobby or a favourite place that not everyone knows about.

Do some research on the company.

Nothing shows your interest more than knowledge, so it doesn't hurt to take a quick look at our company page first. Who are we? What do we stand for? What values and goals do we pursue?
This will also help you decide whether we are a good fit for you in the long term.

Confidence is key.

Have the courage to come out of your shell and show who you are and what makes you special. Use open body language. Tell us what defines you and convince us that you are the best choice.
