The following explains these benefits in detail. We have divided our benefits into seven categories for you to provide a better overview of the range.

Office dogs

At Marc O'Polo it is important to us that our employees feel comfortable at work. A collegial atmosphere is essential, but our numerous four-legged friends on campus also contribute to a more relaxed and cheerful working atmosphere. However, those who spend the day at the office have the problem of what to do with their dog. That problem is now solved: Just bring your pooch with you. By coordinating with our teammates, we create optimal conditions to make working life with a dog a positive experience for everyone.

Fitness

Does fitness – whether physical or mental health - play a large role in your life? Then you can choose from a range of activities: yoga, strength training, meditation or climbing, and we will help you wherever we can. Marc O'Polo offers you the opportunity to become part of the EGYM-WELLPASS company fitness network and will pay half the costs. You can use this pass to access over 6,500 sports facilities in Germany and Austria. Would you prefer to go on a bike ride or enjoy a stand-up paddle in the region today? Then you can borrow one of our SUPs or e-bikes for free. If you are interested in the long term, then you can always lease a bike. Nor do we want to ignore your physical wellbeing: our in-house Marc O'Polo Bistro' ensures you have a balanced diet at work with a wide selection of meals every day, from breakfast to an afternoon snack. (Not forgetting access to free speciality, tea and water round the clock).

Workation

A mobile office with a sea breeze or mountain air? Why not give it a try? At Marc O’Polo, you can work for up to 20 days from any European country of your choice. A good option if you want a change of scenery, to extend your stay at a holiday destination, to enjoy a family visit to the full or simply to work from any location you desire! The choice is yours. Because workation should offer you maximum flexibility to make your working day as pleasant as possible. Work from abroad.

Discounts

As an employee, you can take advantages of the numerous financial benefits we provide. Here’s your first offer: you can purchase our Marc O’Polo products at a discount. Employees can buy goods from our own B2B shop, in the online shop and in our retail and factory outlet shops. Through the extensive employee compensation scheme - Corporate Benefits - you receive significant discounts and exclusive benefits from well-known providers. Your financial benefits also include contributions to the company pension scheme and capital-forming benefits. You will also receive discounts at various restaurants in the area around the Marc O’Polo Campus.

Flex Work

Freedom to flexwork. This refers to flexible working, a hybrid model of mobile office and on-site work. In practical terms, this means a 50% presence on campus every month to attend meetings and events in person and not to neglect the sense of company unity. You decide when. You can spend the remaining 50% of your working time at a workplace of your choice. Whether in the mobile office, in one of our showrooms or in over 45 co-working locations across Germany. How? As a Marc O’Polo employee, you benefit from our cooperation with Design Offices and can book into one of the day offices or co-working lounges at any time - free of charge. To offer you maximum flexibility, we go one step further: our selection of working time models enables every employee to find the right one for them. You want to try it out first? “Temporary part-time” working allows you to switch to part-time work for a specific duration to have more free time or to dedicate yourself to other things in your life.

Sabbatical

On average, you work for about 40 years in your life - with a few weeks break, the annual vacation. If you want to turn your back on work for a while, for example to travel the world or to be able to devote yourself to your family, Marc O'Polo offers you various options. Sabbaticals are a great opportunity to escape from everyday life, to have a good rest and to realign priorities in your daily working. Once the “when” has been clarified, we can also suggest the “where”: the Marc O’Polo Mountain Lodge in the Thierseetal (Austria) can be used for team events and private occasions. Would you prefer not to take the whole sabbatical? Then take advantage of the opportunity to earn up to 20 extra days of leave. Marc O’Polo also offers you additional holidays for special occasions in your life, such as moving house or your own wedding day. After all, big events have to be celebrated.

Mobility

We want your journey to the workplace to be as pleasant as possible. Organised carpools enable you to travel from Munich to the head office easily and cost-effectively. The Marc O’Polo shuttle bus will pick you up at the train station in Rosenheim in the morning and take you directly to the Campus. Do you drive yourself to work? No problem, in addition to parking spaces, there are plenty of e-charging points on site. Go even greener with our bike leasing offer, which allows you to take out a subsidised leasing contract for a bike of your choice. This means you can also travel shorter distances using an environmentally friendly and athletic mode of transport!

Further Training

Your further training is close to our hearts. Whether collection or sales training, specialist knowledge of Marc O’Polo products or sustainability - our retail sales trainers take care of the further development of our employees and teams in the stores. At our headquarters, we also offer you a wide range of training courses in several languages as part of our MO'P University, either face-to-face or as e-learning courses. You want more? We offer you the opportunity to grow with us, whether in the store or at our campus.

Family

We are convinced that work and private life must be compatible. We support you with the various hourly models at Marc O'Polo! To make it easier for you as a family to return to work, we offer a subsidy for childcare under certain conditions. Even better: our EAP provider INSITE advises parents and carers in all matters, e.g. in the search for childcare solutions. At our headquarters, our lovingly furnished parent-child office is available to you for short-term childcare problems, as well as a summer children's holiday programme. Catering

Drinking plenty of fluids is important, so free access is a matter of course for us—whether it's water, tea or coffee. You can satisfy your little hunger in between at any time with our fresh fruit in the stores. On campus, our in-house Marc O’Polo BISTRO' ensures a balanced diet, offering you a large selection of healthy, fresh dishes with regional ingredients every day, from breakfast to afternoon snack.

Special events

You have reason to celebrate? Marc O'Polo celebrates with you! Whether it's a round birthday or an anniversary, your wedding or your baby - we will be happy for you and present you with a small gift for your special day. Once a year, our jubilarians come together for an unforgettable event to celebrate their anniversary.
