IT Application & Collaboration Manager.
Describe your job at MARC O’POLO in a maximum of three sentences.
I am responsible for the professional application management, strategic development and securing of the applications Confluence, JIRA and Mircrosoft SharePoint. My main responsibilities are consultation, conception as well as control concerning digital process optimization.
When does your day start and what is the first thing you do in the office in the morning? Do you have a ritual?
My day starts at 8 a.m. The first thing I do is check my email inbox and go to the coffee machine.
How did you become aware of MARC O’POLO?
I saw a MARC O’POLO advertisement in the Oberbayerisches Volksblatt newspaper, and I just applied.
Which positions have you had previously at MARC O’POLO?
I joined in 2011 as a Junior IT system engineer in the1st level support. After a short time also in 2nd and 3rd support I decided to develop myself in the field of Application Management and Collaboration, due to the great perspective and the future oriented approach.
What has been your best moment so far at MARC O’POLO?
That was the development and implementation of a corporate strategy of digitalization and the following implementation of a digital workspace for MARC O’POLO.
What do you like the most at the Rosenheim site?
The proximity to my home town and the easy commute, but also of course the city itself as well as the surrounding area.
