HR Coordinator, former apprentice.
Describe your job at MARC O’POLO in a maximum of three sentences.
As a generalist I support the HR business partners with the recruitment, integration and supervision of our national and international employees in retail and in parts of our headquarters. As a result, I have insight into a wide variety of processes, new challenges on a daily basis and the opportunity to develop myself optimally.
How did you become aware of MARC O’POLO?
I became aware of MARC O’POLO through a careers information evening and knew immediately that I must get into this company or none at all! After a voluntary placement during my schooldays, I started training here in the company to become a saleswoman in wholesale and foreign trade.
Which positions have you had previously at MARC O’POLO?
During the first year of my training I joined the HR department and worked there for the remaining one-and-a-half years in the area of time management. To develop myself further, I was able to switch after the end of my training to national and international applicant management, where I successfully completed my diploma to become a business administrator after an 18-month part-time course. Lastly, to apply the knowledge I acquired in daily business, I switched in the middle of 2014 to the Recruiting & Consultation Retail Europe division. Here, I support our business partners and have my own projects.
What has been your best moment so far at MARC O’POLO?
There is no one particular moment that I can say was my best. Looking back, I can say that the last five years on the whole have been simply great! The opportunities and options for developing oneself further and for active participation in the company are simply unique, and I would do it all over again in exactly the same way.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I’m actually always on the go. I do a lot of sport, either with friends or alone outdoors. Here in the alpine upland, you are offered a full range of action sports, which means I’m never bored – in summer or winter!
What do you like the most at the Rosenheim site?
You have the perfect mix of an international employer, that holiday feeling in the countryside after finishing time, and a quick escape route to Munich as well as to Lake Garda.
Why should someone join MARC O’POLO?
If you’re keen to join a young, dynamic company in which you can operate at full capacity and at the same time have fun at work, you’ve come to exactly the right place! Employees are fostered individually and successes are celebrated together. The working atmosphere here is great and the interaction with your colleagues also continues after finishing time.
