MARC O’POLO Foundation donates 50.000 EUR to Pro Arbeit in Rosenheim. Local commitment and the support of young talents have always been part of MARC O’POLO’s corporate culture. This is why we asked the guests of our anniversary event in July 2017 for donations to the MARC O’POLO Foundation. The purpose: The support of the project Apprentice Coaching (Ausbildungscoaching) of the non-profit association Pro Arbeit in Rosenheim. An initiative, that has been sponsored by Werner Böck, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Majority Shareholder of MARC O’POLO, for more than 30 years and by the MARC O’POLO Foundation since 2009. Pro Arbeit aims at preventing adolescents from terminating their apprenticeship by consulting and helping them. The guests donated overall 33.820 EUR, which were rounded up to 50.000 EUR by the MARC O’POLO Foundation. On 14/9/2017 the donation was handed over to Claudia Georgii (Managing Director) and Harald Neu (Member of the Board) of Pro Arbeit at the MARC O’POLO headquarters in Stephanskirchen. »Even today, there are unfortunately many young people in Germany and the Rosenheim area in difficult conditions who do not have the same chance of a successful career. That is why we have been supporting Pro Arbeit for years. The commitment of the experts is extremely valuable to young people and society.« Werner Böck, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Majority Shareholder, MARC O’POLO AG.
